Vacancy: Birmingham Airport Chaplaincy Team Leader

We are looking for a Part Time Team Leader with Chaplaincy experience:

  • in good standing with a church community
  • who wants to help diverse people to flourish, within the working context of an airport
  • and who wants to lead a team of volunteer Chaplains.

 

Birmingham Airport is a dynamic community of about 9000 staff working to transport and care for 12 million people a year.

Chaplaincy connects with Staff and Travellers, and helps them to make sense of their experiences of vulnerability, joy and faith.

The Airport provides two Prayer Rooms and  a Chaplaincy Office.

 

The Multi Faith Chaplaincy Team supports people of all faiths and none, in spiritual, emotional and practical ways.

The Team Leader role is to give Chaplaincy support, to lead the team of assistant Chaplains, and to be a bridge to local faith communities.

 

The Multi-Faith Chaplaincy is a partnership between the Airport, and CIGB Workplace Chaplaincy Birmingham Solihull

CIGB provides Chaplaincy expertise, Faith connections and a supportive team across Birmingham and Solihull.

 

Terms: 14 hrs/wk flexibly, with on-call availability;  £9,800 plus Pension Contribution
